We had a short, but fun meeting in April.
Meeting Winners! We had some shy winners this month. Congratulations – you know who you are!
Committee Updates
Sit and Sews: The sit and sew committee has scheduled several times to meet over the next few months. Some during the week and some on the weekend. The recent ones have been well attended with the members enjoying camaraderie while they sew. All dates and times for scheduled sit and sews (both in-person and virtual) are on the calendar and as events in the Facebook member group.
Challenge: Two different challenges were announced this month. See the Challenges page for more information on both.
- One is a one-month challenge to make flower blocks.
- One is a six-month challenge to go on a mysterious creative journey.
Education:
- Brigit Dermott Class: Registration for the upcoming Playing with Shapes class by Brigit Dermott is open to members and will open to non-members starting Saturday, March 21. You can find information about the class and the sign up here.
- David Owen Hastings Class: Registration for the upcoming Inspired by Art class by David Owen Hastings is open for members now and will open Saturday, April 25 for non-members. You can find information about the class and the sign up here.
Snacks: As a reminder, please sign up here to bring something. If everyone signs up for just one spot, we can have these tasty treats at every meeting!

Sew & Tell
Another month with some inspiring items shared!

April Program
Rather than a program, we had a maker’s market. Several of our members brought fabric, books, notions, and lovely handmade items. We browsed and many found some treasures to take home. I was having such a good time wandering around and making purchases, that I completely forgot to take pictures. If anyone got some, please share on the Facebook page.
