Timna Tarr Mosaic Daisy Workshop

ZOOM workshop March 14, 2026!

Create photorealistic quilts one square at a time. Learn the techniques that make up Timna’s Barnyard Series of animal quilts. Using a photo, the process of making a fabric mosaic using turned edge machine applique is explained. We will break down the construction process, explore color and value as design elements, and learn how to choose the right fabric for the right location. For intermediate level quilters.

Workshop Date and Time: Saturday, March 14. The workshop is from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Workshop Location: This workshop is on Zoom. The link will be emailed prior to class to the class participants.

Class Size: 20 participants

Payment Details: We are using Zeffy for payments. Click here for a document that describes how to use Zeffy. Note that Zeffy earns its money through fees on purchases. You can choose to pay the fee, change the fee to an amount of your choosing, or you can zero it out. Steps 4 and 5 in the linked document show how to do this.

IMPORTANT NOTE: These fees go to Zeffy. If you accidentally pay them, Zeffy’s policy is to not issue a refund of the fees; JAXMQG has no control over them. The guild will NOT refund donations accidentally made to Zeffy.

Cost: The cost is $25 for members and $35 for non-members.

Key Dates, Cancellation and Waitlist policies:
February 7, 2026: JAXMQG member registration opens online at 10:00 a.m.
February 21, 2026: JAXMQG nonmember registration opens online.
February 25, 2026: Last day to register.
February 28, 2026: Cancellations made after this date will be refunded ONLY if the spot is filled.

Waitlist: If the workshop sells out a waitlist will be created for members that request a spot if a paid member cancels.
