Give and Take Workshop with Tara Faughnan: ZOOM FROM HOME
Hello JAXMQG members! Registration is now open for our last ZOOM workshop for 2023. JAXMQG will be hosting Tara Faughnan, to teach us her Give and Take quilt. Find information and register for the workshop below.
The Give and Take quilt is an exercise in controlled improvisation. This method of practicing improv within the block and then squaring it up for final construction allows room for a lot of play and exploration both in color and form. We will also discuss how color placement and value can create high impact compositions that moves the eye across the quilt.
When: Saturday OCTOBER 7th starting at 10 AM EST and lasting 7 hours with one hour lunch break.
Where: ZOOM from HOME. Participants will receive a link to enter the ZOOM classroom.
Cost: $43 for JAXMQG members. (plus $2 PayPal fee charge).
