WOW—the JAXMQG December holiday party was festive & fun thanks to Franci S. and team! 45 JAXMQG members attended the party to enjoy an array of tasty appetizers and cheerful game playing. In addition to a room full of smiles and laughs there were several happy prize winners.
Christina F. won the door prize which was a fat quarter bundle donated by member Paula H. / SEW MODERN CHICKY.COM
Robbie K. and Jan L. won the ‘how many jingle bells in the jar‘ game. Member Paula H. / SEW MODERN CHICKY.COM donated cute mini charm packs with pattern!
Angela W. and Sara D. won the ‘pass the gift around’ game! They each received a box of Anthology story strips donated by member Diane S.
Dawn K. won a Tula Pink fat quarter bundle in the City Rescue Mission sock drive participation drawing. Member Paula F. donated the prize.
Christie R., Symone W. and Chris P. were the big winners of the LRC games! Sarah S. was the happy winner of the strip poker game!
Franci S. and Robbie K were the 2022 UFO challenge winners!
Each attendee also left the party with a wonderful handmade item they selected (OR STOLE) at the White Elephant Exchange! The gift exchange was lively as it was difficult to choose from the very large assortment of marvelous items made by our talented members.





The party also included community outreach efforts:
Paula F. and Kim B. coordinated a SOCK drive for City Rescue Mission. Guild members donated a whopping impressive 617 pairs of socks! Congratulations on a job well done!
Franci S. orchestrated guild members to piece blocks for group made charity quilts. The first set are black/white/gray wonky log cabins and the second set are X blocks. The finished strappy HST charity quilt made by members at the September retreat was revealed. More to come on where these fabulous quilts will be donated.

January 29 : monthly meeting featuring several 2023 kick off activities and a free hand curve demo given by Candi L. More meeting details will be included in the January newsletter.
