Birds , birds, birds. We have many bird lovers in our group and the funky bird block at the retreat started a sort of bird quilting fever! Ruth suggested a bird quilt swap and Christy suggested making them a frame-able size. So here we are! The rules:
Design:
Any bird goes! Piece it, applique it, quilt it. paint it, embellish it; wherever your creative takes you.
Size:
Choose from one of three sizes that are the most common frame sizes: 4×6 inches, 5×7 inches, or 8×10 inches.
Finish:
Quilt it but don’t bind it as it’s intended for framing. Sign and date the back of the quilt.
Due at the June Meeting.
Most important, have fun!

Happy birding!
