JAXMQG fantastic July meeting review!

We had a fantastic July guild meeting with 59 members in attendance! We welcomed 3 visitors: Barbara L., Jane F., and Billie M. We are thrilled that two of the visitors Barbara and Jane joined the guild at the meeting. President Sarah announced that the guild now has 102 guild members!

Guild business:

Membership fee update: President Sarah and Treasurer Robbie announced after July out membership fee will no longer be prorated mid year. The fee change is attributed to the national MQG policy change that now requires mid year membership audit that requires additional dues.

Guild board opportunities: For 2025 the guild is recruiting a new member to assume the Secretary role (replacing member Lisa H.). You can find a description of the secretary role in the July newsletter. Also, the Treasurer position (replacing member Robbie K.) can be filled next year or a member can shadow Robbie in 2025 to assume the role in 2026. If interested, please contact member Christina F. (Christinafloresfiberartist@gmail.com) as the lead of the nomination team.
