Members showed their creative skills with July BOM’s. From flying geese, flower baskets, log cabin, nine patch, courthouse steps, attic window, and HSTs, they all have gone modern. Janette won the blocks this month. Can’t wait to see what you do with them, Janette. Robin forgot her blocks at the table at home (opps) but lucky for Janette, she ran into her after the meeting and gave her her block . I am sharing a picture of Robin’s two blocks below.
In an effort to get our swaps and challenges started as an official guild, we decided at the meeting to do a mug rug swap for the August meeting. Here are the details for the swap. Also remember that we are still looking to see if one our member is interested in heading the swaps and challenges committee. Don’t be shy! If you have an idea for a challenge or a swap, bring it to the table.
As usual, our members wowed us with their show and tell.
Please remember that due to meeting room availability, our August meeting will be held on August 30th instead of our regular fourth Saturday.
