June Jam Packed!

The title of this post makes me think of childhood summers in North Alabama. Long before Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo, we had JUNE JAM in Fort Payne, Alabama. It was hot and noisy and all the new country music stars came to play. It felt like a never-ending Memorial Day weekend, coming a week or two into June. This has really nothing to do with quilting, I thought maybe some of you fellow Southerners would get the June Jam reference.

If you are feeling the heat, try thinking about Christmas quilting 🙂 Now is the time the winter fabrics come out and stores sell out. Want to get a Christmas FQ bundle for your guild’s Secret Santa party? Get it NOW. Here are a few to look out for:

I love Kate Spain’s bright cheery colors. This line coordinates with her other Christmas lines, Jingle and In From the Cold.
This pattern uses Merry and Bright by Dani Mogstad for Riley Blake. Vintage Christmas!! This would make some cute fabric gift bags.
This is Meet Magnolia from Hoffman Fabrics. Sometimes you need winter fabric, not Christmas fabric. A “winter” quilt can be left out on display until March!
