It was Halloween AND the day of the Florida/Georgia game (yay Gators!) and we still managed to have 17 members and one visitor (hope you enjoyed your visit, Judy) at the meeting! We missed our absent regulars and hope to see you all in November. And just a reminder that the November meeting will take place on the 21st to accommodate for Thanksgiving. The October meeting minutes are posted here.
Check out the gorgeous rainbow BOM blocks, Janette was the lucky winner.
Angie selected next month’s BOM: turn the old into new. Stay tuned for the detailed post.
Adele was a busy bee and brought in two beautiful and finished quilts to show (sew inspiring):

Adam brought his awesome Marilyn Monroe quilt!
The Gator, Robin, brought her gorgeous ballerina quilt.
Jen announced the Secret Santa swap that we will be doing at the Christmas party on the 12th of December; detailed information will follow soon as well as the chance to sign up!
Ted has all the nominations submitted for our officers election that will be held during the November meeting. He will be creating a ballot that will be available to all paid guild members, as well as instructions for submitting an absentee ballot if you are not going to be able to make it to the November meeting.
Happy November y’all!
